KEEPING YOU SAFE THROUGHOUT YOUR STAY

As a family run B&B and in keeping with our core values, our primary focus is the health and well-being of our guests, family and our team. We are highly committed to taking every action possible to prevent the spread of Covid-19.
ASHLEIGH HOUSE B&B has been awarded the COVID-19 Safety Charter. The COVID-19 Safety Charter is designed to give comfort and reassurance to all guests, having completed training and follow all health guidelines to reopen safely.

Pre–Arrival – Enquiry & Booking
Confirmation emails – Guests will be informed about the new Covid- 19 guidelines prior to arrival via email.

Covid Policy Update FEBRUARY 2021

In Line with current regulations we are only open to Essential Workers. All future reservations from international travel will be required to provide proof of Covid Immunisation vaccination, adhere to any local government guidelines on self-quarantine, and complete any Covid Health Questionnaires prior to, or on arrival, as is deemed necessary for the protection of our guests & family.

WHEN YOU ARRIVE

Reception & check-in

Room only is being actively promoted and pre-bookings will be taken for breakfast (when requested) at the time of check in and breakfast times will be staggered.

WHAT YOU WILL NOTICE DURING YOUR STAY

GENERAL

Staff will wear ppe where required.
Social distancing markers will be visible on signage and footprint markings.
Hand sanitisers will be readily available throughout.
Furniture has been rearranged to allow for adequate social distancing. Guests are asked to refrain from moving furniture.

GUEST CORRIDORS

Guests should not stop for prolonged peridds on any part of guest corridor which may cause that corridor to be impassable to other guests at a safe distance.

All common touch points on guest corridors will receive more frequent sanitisation by our housekeeping team.

GUEST BEDROOMS & HOUSEKEEPING

All Government and WHO guidelines for cleaning and sanitising guest rooms will be adhered to. Frequently touched areas will be thoroughly disinfected.
Housekeeping will open windows where possible when servicing a room, ensuring adequate ventilation.
All single use items such as paper, magazines will be removed from the guest rooms.
WE use PPE when servicing rooms and are trained on its correct disposal.
Extra pillows and blankets will be provided on request.

BREAKFAST TIME

Automated Hand sanitiser is available to guests entering and exiting our dining area and our staff will politely remind you to use it.
Dining tables will be adequately spaced apart and the number of diners will be reduced as per safety protocols.
Tables, chairs, will be sanitised from guests to guest.
Our delicious hot cooked breakfast will be served to you whilst practising social distancing, perfect hygiene and wearing appropriate PPE.

GUEST DEPARTURE

We can no longer give the hug or safe journey handshake but as always will wish you a great holiday and thank you for staying with us.

What you can do to help:

We ask that our guests remain up to date on these guidelines. HSE Covid-19
We ask Guests who have travelled internationally or those arriving from the current Irish Government Non-Green Countries list will have self-quarantined for the recommended 14 days prior to arrival. Failure to do so or provide proof of travel will result in your reservation being cancelled on arrival. Please note that we are unable to provide accommodation to quarantine within.
Should you present with any of the Corona virus symptoms prior to your arrival – please cancel your reservation.
Should you present with any symptoms of Corona virus or feel unwell during your stay, we kindly ask that you remain in your bedroom and phone Phyllis on 087 6908 091 – We will arrange for a doctor to contact you and they will provide further instructions.
